Craft Day

I don't know if it's part of the nesting that comes with pregnancy but I have been itching to do some sewing and craft projects. With the baby coming, Riley will be getting a new room so I needed to make some curtains for that. I've also been looking for crafts that maybe someday I could start selling to make some extra money so I tried two new things today.


Little Miss Riley had to be in the midst of it all so I spent part of my time sewing with a "monkey" on my back!


Here are my new projects...a diaper wipe case and diaper holder.

And just simple valances for Riley's room. It's going to be Mickey themed with the walls painted a light turqouise and black and white polka dot decor.

I'd hoped to get a couple other things done...a pillowcase dress for Riley and the bedskirt for her room. Had a few challenges though....I got in a fight with my sewing machine and had some trouble mastering the diaper holder. It was still a productive day and I'm proud of my projects!
