Laying on of hands

Ever since I had Riley I have had some back issues. Just awful pain from my shoulder blades to the middle of my back. Since I've gotten pregnant for some reason that pain has gotten worse, almost to the point of making me nauseous.

This afternoon all Riley could think about was going outside. "Singset" (swing set) or "feed the aminals." Daddy got her ready to go then asked if I was coming. I told him that I was going to have to lay down for a bit because my back was hurting so bad. Riley immediately ran in and laid her little hand on my knee..."Uba, duba, umana...AMEN!" I was so touched by her thoughtfulness and wrapped my arms around her. Quickly she jumped out of my embrace and said, "OUTSIDE!" Guess she expected me to rise up and walk thanks to her prayer! Now that I think about it, guess I should take a lesson from her. When I pray, I should immediately be expectant of results from God! Once again, my little girl taught me something and blessed my afternoon.

Just as our little girl would pray for us and teach us lessons about faith, Riley takes after her mother.
