A good friend of mine has had her world turned upside down this past week. Instead of enjoying a Merry Christmas and ringing in the New Year like most, she has been dealing with a cancer diagnosis in her precious two year old daughter. Her name is Addison Jo and she is a beautiful little girl, much too young to face something like this! You never want to hear the word cancer uttered about any loved one but it's especially difficult to swallow when it affects the life of a child.
Addison and Riley have enjoyed many playdates and football games together. Remember the cute little kittens that Riley got this summer? Addison graciously gave those to Riley! She's a special little girl and her parents are being super strong for her. Her mommy, Kelly, has been a very good friend to me over the years and this mommy's heart breaks for her as she has to see her little girl go through tests, surgeries, and soon, treatments for the cancer. PLEASE PRAY, PRAY, PRAY FOR ADDISON'S HEALING! Jesus bore the stripes on His back for our healing and that includes the healing of this terrible disease!
