Harvestfest...

Halloween...it's a big deal for many but not really for us. We've just never really have gotten into the whole "scarey" idea so we normally just enjoy some fall celebrations. One of those celebrations is a Halloween alternative that our church hosts called Harvestfest. Riley had a blast last year so we had to go tonight.

Initially she was a bit timid because of all the different kiddos that were there. It was quite loud and chaotic for a bit and she's not big on either of those. Once the night started rolling, she had a good ol' time. She played carnival style games and earned points that could be cashed in for prizes. She enjoyed a hayride around the church and her favorite part...THE BOUNCY HOUSE! She would have stayed all night if it hadn't been for the big kids taking it over and scaring her out of it.

Amongst all the chaos, Josie was as calm as a cucumber!

Even though we don't do Halloween, I think the colors are so cute so I created matching hairbows for the girls and even a flower pin for me!
I'm hoping we can find another Harvestfest or Halloween alternative for Riley to enjoy on Halloween night. We'll see...
