The parade started with the soldiers marching and their band. We all stood to honor them, including Riley. Something about seeing them, many so young, and knowing they fight to protect our country makes me so proud and teary-eyed.

Riley loved the parade and got WAY too much candy which we've safely hidden in the cabinet hoping she'll forget about it. After the parade, we went to the park where the festival took place to eat and tour the booths. Nothing too exciting happened there to warrant any pictures. It was a fun day but we were all pooped by the end of it and took a long afternoon nap!

Those farm pictures are from my grandparents farm. They ran a dairy farm for years.
